Pick a quiz
How it works
Pick a deck, choose how many questions, and answer them about yourself β honestly.
You get a private link. Send it to your partner, or hand them the phone if you are together.
They guess your answers. You both see the score and every question they missed.
A new question every morning
The app keeps it going after the quiz β one question a day for the two of you, with streaks and every deck.

Most couple quizzes ask you both to sit on the same sofa. This one does not. You answer a set of questions about yourself, honestly, and the site turns those answers into a link. Send that link to your partner and they try to guess what you said. When they finish, you both see the score and β more usefully β every question where they got it wrong.
That last part is the point. A score is a bit of fun; the disagreements are the conversation. Finding out that your partner thinks you want to be left alone when you are upset, when what you actually want is a phone call, is worth more than any percentage.
A relationship quiz that tells you something
Most relationship quizzes online score your relationship for you: ten questions, a percentage, a verdict you did not ask for. This one has no opinion about your relationship. It only shows you where the two of you answered differently, and leaves the interpretation to the people who actually know the situation.
That makes it useful at every stage β a new relationship where you are still learning each other, a long-distance relationship held together by messages, a long relationship where you stopped asking questions years ago, or a rough patch where the honest conversation keeps getting postponed. There is a deck for each of those, and none of them will tell you whether to stay together.
Who each deck is written for
- Long distance couples. Timezones, visits, the specific frustration of a conversation that has to wait until tomorrow. Neither of you has to be online at the same time.
- New couples. A few dates in, when you are still working out what the other person picked up on and what went straight past them.
- Long-term and married couples. Years in, when you assume you know the answers. This is the deck where people score lower than they expect.
Questions for couples, in a form you actually use
Lists of questions to ask your partner are easy to find and almost impossible to use. You open one on your phone, read the first three out loud, and the conversation dies somewhere around question five. The questions were fine β reading them off a screen was the problem.
Every deck here is a set of questions for couples with a reason to answer them. Deep questions, flirty questions, first date questions, questions for long distance couples, questions to ask before you move in together, questions for married couples who think they know the answers. You answer, they guess, and the ones they get wrong are the ones worth talking about.
Free games to play over text
Because a round is just a link, the whole thing works inside a normal conversation. Send it on WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram or Discord and your partner plays wherever they already are. If you have been looking for free games to play over text with your boyfriend or girlfriend, this is the shortest version of that: one message, no app, no account on either side.
It is also a genuinely free alternative to the paid couple apps. The well-known ones put their question decks behind a yearly subscription. Every deck here is open, with no trial and no card details.
How the link actually works
Your answers are encoded into the link itself β into the part after the # symbol, which browsers never send to a server. That means there is no database, no account and nothing for us to lose. It also means anyone holding your link can read your answers, so send it to one person and not to a group chat.
Ideas for when to play
- On a video call, both reading the same questions out loud
- Sent in the morning, answered whenever your partner wakes up
- On an anniversary, to see what has changed since last year
- On a long drive, with one phone passed between you
- Instead of the usual "how was your day" message

Frequently asked questions
- Is this couple quiz really free?
- Yes. Every quiz on this site is free online with no limit, no trial and no payment details. There is nothing to unlock.
- Is there a paywall or a premium version?
- There is no paywall. No sign-up, no trial and no locked decks β a completely free alternative to the paid couple apps that charge a yearly subscription.
- Do we need to download an app?
- No. The quiz runs in your browser on any phone or laptop. There is nothing to install for either of you.
- Do we need an account?
- No sign-up, no email, no password. You type a first name so your partner knows who sent it, and that is all.
- Do you store our answers?
- No. Your answers are encoded inside the link your browser creates, so they never reach our servers. There is no database of results.
- Can we play over text?
- Yes. That is the whole idea: a round becomes a link you send on WhatsApp, iMessage or anything else, which makes it one of the few free games to play over text with your boyfriend or girlfriend.
- Can we play if we're in different countries?
- Yes. In link mode neither of you has to be online at the same time, which is what makes it work for long distance couples.
- How long does a round take?
- Just a few minutes. You choose how many questions you want before you start, so a round can be as short or as long as you like.
- Can we play on one phone?
- Yes. Pick 'One phone' at the start: one of you answers, hands the phone over, and the other guesses.
- Is it good for a new relationship?
- Yes β the New Couple and First Date decks are written for early dating, where you are still learning what the other person notices.
